The Integrative Wellness Council of Maine is a group of like-minded medical providers and holistic health practitioners who are joining together in an opportunity to network and create a platform for continued community support and education of the ways in which complementary and alternative therapies may help our patients, clients, and students lead healthy, well, and whole live.

Provide a network that empowers people, practitioners, and organizations within Maine to realize their full potential to be optimally healthy and well through the transformative practices of integrative healthcare.

Promote, support, and educate health and wellness providers and the community on the benefit, effectiveness, and safety of traditional medicine in combination with holistic, complementary therapies and self-care practices for the most robust and optimal health and wellness for ourselves, our community, and the people we serve.

Employing a personalized strategy that considers the patient’s unique conditions, needs and circumstances, integrative medicine uses the most appropriate interventions from an array of scientific disciplines to heal illness and disease and help people regain and maintain optimal health.”             -The Bravewell Collaborative (
